ABOUT

OUR MISSION

ALTO began in Melbourne in 2013 for the purpose of promoting, supporting and connecting young Australian-Italians. We continue to connect and support our members and business leaders within the wider Australia-Italian community, to come together through a shared sense of culture and love for all things Italian.

OUR PURPOSE

As an independent, not-for-profit association, ALTO is driven to genuinely connect the next generation of Australian-Italians both professionally and personally. ALTO seeks to bring together the most talented young Australian-Italian professionals and next generation of business and community leaders.

Adrian D'Aprano

President - BSc., MPAcc., CA.

Adrian currently serves as the President of ALTO. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Monash University and a Master of Professional Accounting from Swinburne University. Whilst completing his tertiary studies Adrian was an active member of various Italian social clubs and co-founded VITA. Adrian's current role is a Commercial Manager at Team Global Express.

Linda Zinni

Secretary - BHRM., Cert 3 & 4 Fitness

Linda is the Practice Manager at Boss Private Clients since it was founded in 2007. She oversees the administration and management of the office and ensures the office is running productively, efficiently and happily. Linda completed a degree in Human Resource Management in 2003 at Victoria University and in 2019 she completed her certificate 3 & 4 in fitness at the Australian Institute of Fitness.

Marco Timperio

Treasurer - BCom., CA.

Marco began his journey in finance and accounting in 2018 and now works in the Business Tax Advisory team at Accru Melbourne. Marco moved to Australia in 2014 and has since built a strong network with the Italian community. He joined the ALTO Committee as Treasurer to continue supporting and uniting the young Australian-Italian professionals and leaders of tomorrow.

Leticia Ficarra

General Committee Member - B.A., BPsycSc., LLB., GDLP.

Leticia is an in-house corporate lawyer at a global technology solutions company and runs a small cake business in her spare time. Leticia was admitted to practice in 2016 and has worked in various industries including the Health and Wellness, Facility Management, Recruitment, Rail and Sports Entertainment sectors.

Juliet Floramo

General Committee Member - B.A.

Juliet is a Juris Doctor Candidate at the University of Melbourne. Prior to her Juris Doctor studies, she completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in History and Italian at the University of Melbourne. She is dedicated to fostering networking skills among tertiary students demonstrated through her involvement with ALTO since 2023.

David La Greca

General Committee Member - BEc.

David is a Financial Services professional with extensive experience at La Trobe Financial, Bank of Melbourne, AMP Capital and AXA Australia. David joined the ALTO Committee in July 2017 (serving 4 years as President) with a focus on bringing together talented Australian-Italian Professionals, Business and Community Leaders and supporting them in building solid, sustainable relationships.

Corey Vraca

General Committee Member - BBus (Mgt).

Corey has been part of the ALTO Committee since 2018 and has been an active member since it early inception. Professionally, Corey is an Associate Director at Colliers specialising in the Industrial and Logistics asset class. Corey is a licensed Estate Agent and has completed a Bachelor of Business Management at Victoria University.

Julian Amato

Committee Member

Julian Amato is a commercial litigation solicitor with a strong interest in politics and community engagement. Julian has worked for various national and global law firms in both Sydney and Adelaide. He has represented large corporate clients in some of the most high-profile class actions in Australia, and gives back to his community through his committee involvement with the Law Society of South Australia and Australian Lawyers for Human Rights. Julian is passionate about engaging with his local community to help achieve better outcomes for those who are less fortunate. He is also an advocate for the Italian-Australian community in Adelaide, and regularly appears on the local Italian Radio to encourage a sense of cohesion and collegiality among the Italian Australia business community. In his spare time, Julian is a loyal supporter of Italian football team AC Milan and regularly watches the games with the AC Milan Adelaide Club. He has been a member of the ALTO SA committee since 2021.

ALTO hosts 4 major gatherings per year attended by 80-100 corporates and professionals. A once off lifetime membership fee of $95 gives you national membership and access to the exclusive ALTO network. With state-based chapters currently in VIC and SA, the ALTO association has broad community reach with the ability to give you access to build your network and attend events with like-minded members throughout Australia.
