Amanda Farinotti is the newest member of the ALTO Committee. Amanda is an Executive Paraplanner and the second in charge of the Victorian paraplanning team in BT Financial Group. She has a Bachelor in Commence, majoring in Finance, Marketing and Commercial Law from Deakin University as well as an Advanced Diploma in financial planning.
Amanda loves to travel and is always planning her next overseas holiday.
Bill is the founder and managing director of 360South, a multimedia agency based in Southbank, Melbourne. Bill started the business in 2002 after getting his start in multimedia as New Media Co-ordinator at V2 Records in London.
With almost two decades’ experience in visual content, brand development, design, marketing, and all things multimedia, and with a degree in Photography & Visual Arts from Melbourne Uni Bill has worked with some of Australia’s largest organisations.
Since the late 90's Bill has been pioneering virtual tour photography around Europe and Australia and was the first photographer to bring virtual tour technology to the music and television industries.
After founding the 360South multimedia agency in 2002, Bill and his team of designers, developers, and digital marketing gurus have produced marketing collateral for hundreds of businesses and organisations around the world.
With a love for all things Italian, Bill has also for many years been working to help the Australian-Italian community in a range of capacities. He’s recently joined the ALTO committee to help drive their digital marketing and brand development.
Frank is a lawyer at Farrar Gesini Dunn.
Farrar Gesini Dunn specialises in Family Law, Trusts, Estates, Wills and Superannuation. Frank’s primary practice is in Family Law and he has been practicing in Family Law since 2011. In his everyday practice, Frank deals with a wide range of clients and matters, from high net worth clients to those with less behind them; from extremely high conflict matters to those matters where all parties are focused on an amicable and realistic solution.
Frank’s focus is aligned with the overriding focus of Farrar Gesini Dunn, which is to help and empower people with compassion and innovation. This is a focus that is close to Frank’s heart.
Frank is one of the newest members to the ALTO committee and he is excited to help ALTO grow.
John R Persico is an international leader in strategy for analytical and technical workforces. He is co-founder of the Professional Services Champions League (PSCL), including five world championship events for 20,000 professionals worldwide. John formerly worked in investment banking, management consulting and private equity. He has a commerce/law degree and masters in supply chain management. John is current ALTO President.
Matthew has been one of the founding board members of ALTO since its 2013 launch, and has a vision to help establish a strong and active network of young Italian-Australian professionals.
Matthew recently graduated from Monash University (Clayton) with a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Arts. He currently works for Professional Services Champions League, a company which runs conferences, training courses and customisable global and local corporate events for professional services industries. As Operations Manager, Matthew is responsible primarily for event management, logistics and marketing strategy, and he also takes a keen interest in nurturing Community and Media Partnerships. Working with PSCL has allowed Matthew to pursue one of his great passions – that of travelling the world – with events run in North America, Europe and India.
Matthew has always been passionate about leadership and building community. In his time on the ALTO Committee, Matthew is committed to creating effective mentoring pathways for other young Italian-Australian professionals.
Sam has years of Financial Advice and Market experience includes roles within the Treasury Department of NAB and ANZ. Wealth Management roles at Deutche Bank, Godfrey Pembroke Financial Consultancy and Prime Financial Group.
Sam has in-depth knowledge of the financial sector is applied to tax structuring, investments (including direct equities), managed investments, self-managed and public offer superannuation funds, in addition to risk managed strategies for individuals and SME businesses.
Vostro also has a number of joint ventures in place (8) with Accounting Firms and growing. Outside of his role at Vostro Private Wealth, Sam is half owner of CHPW Financial Pty Ltd which operates an Australian Financial Services License (AFSL No. 280201) and has over 30 Authorised Representatives running their own Wealth Management Practises. In addition to this he has equity in two Accounting Firms one in Melbourne and the other in Geelong.
Sam loves and thrives with the Italo Australian lifestyle, from playing competitive soccer, indoor cricket, and the casual jog. To travelling between the two most beautiful countries in the world. He is expecting a bumper winter crop from his infamous veggie patch. Not forgetting the joys of Sugo and Salami time.
Steve is a Partner in the PKF Melbourne corporate finance team and is also a Chartered Accountant. He specialises in assisting his clients identify and review businesses for acquisition as well as helping owners prepare for and complete the sale of their own businesses. Steve’s involvement is both strategic and transactional in nature. He advises a number of businesses on an ongoing basis regarding maximising their operational and strategic performance with a view to improving value. Part of his role is to facilitate the succession planning process of businesses, a process which can be the most complex and important of the business life-cycle. He does this by partnering with business owners, management or key executives to implement a strategy and complete any subsequent transactions whilst keeping key stakeholders informed and empowered throughout. Whether it be the corporatisation of a SME to sell to external parties or the transition of a family owned business from one generation to the next the aim is always the same – maximising returns to both the vendors and acquirers.
Steven holds a graduate diploma in investment and finance (FINSIA) and is also a Business Valuation Specialist accredited through the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand. In addition to the above qualifications he has in excess of 15 years’ experience advising and assisting SME businesses throughout all stages of the business lifecycle.
